OFFICE AND VIEWING GUIDELINES
LONEY MILLER DURING THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK
‘Under the changes to official Health Protection Regulations on the 12th May, visiting estate agents and the viewing of properties is now permitted and estate agents have been allowed to return to work. Following the guidelines laid out by the government relating to social distancing please see our current policies.
Office Guidelines during Covid19
Following the need for social distancing and to keep unnecessary travel to a minimum we will wherever possible continue to work from home. We will be carrying out appointments locally and our office will be manned by members of the team during the week as required. As there will not be someone in the office permanently, we would ask you to make a confirmed appointment for the collection of keys, paperwork or should you require a meeting with one of the team.
Viewing Guidelines during Covid19
The process of finding and moving into a new home will need to follow different practices and procedures to ensure that the risk of spread of coronavirus is reduced as far as possible. It is vital that everyone stays alert and safe. We are therefore following the current Government guidelines for all viewings on properties for both rent and sale.
- Initially buyers and tenants will be provided with full details of the property by brochure.
- At the point of interest in a property and looking to proceed to an offer, a physical viewing can be arranged. This will be limited to members of the same household and only for buyers/tenants currently in a position to proceed.
- When physically viewing a property, you should avoid touching surfaces, wash your hands regularly, and bring your own hand sanitiser and face covering. The number of people on a viewing should be minimised to two adults. If you need to be accompanied by small children, you should try to keep them from touching surfaces and ensure they wash their hands regularly.
- Everyone involved in the viewing process must follow social distancing.’
